Gentle Souls is a brand by Kenneth Cole. Cole was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1954. His father owned the El Greco shoe manufacturing company where Kenneth learned his craft early. He began his own company in 1982 by filming "The Birth of a Shoe Company" just to be able to afford entry into Market Week at the New York Hilton.
Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole is a play on words. This brand is known for a variety of integrated technical features, including rubberized outsoles, cork midsoles, flaxseed footbeds, and Poron® performance urethane padding. Deer skin sock linings provide softness and comfort, and will not stretch or crack when wet.
