FIORENTINI + BAKER was founded by English designer Deborah Baker, for whom a love of shoes started at a young age. After spending time working for others, she founded her line of FIORENTINI + BAKER shoes in 2001.

The company saw almost instant success, and saw global popularity unlike many other new to the fashion industry brands see. Despite the FIORENTINI + BAKER overnight success, designer and founder Deborah Baker maintains her original vision and philosophy for her company. She makes shoes, and has fun doing so.
